Bespoke Websites

My approach to Web Design: craftsmanship and high performance

Exclusive Design

Whether it's a web portal, a showcase site, an e-commerce, or a landing page, the websites I create start from a blank canvas: they are not based on pre-existing templates or commercial CMS, but are ideated specifically for each project with a totally exclusive design.

Hand-coded quality

Once the main design is approved, I hand-code the HTML and CSS to bring the website to life, adhering to the international quality standards set by the W3C (World Wide Web Consortium). I ensure full compatibility with mobile devices like smartphones and tablets using "responsive" techniques.

Accessibility

Recently, I have been designing my websites with an accessibility-first mindset, ensuring compliance with WCAG 2.0 guidelines—vital for companies, organizations, and anyone who cares about universality and inclusion.

Lightweight and usable

I know every corner of my code and my site file structures; resources are organized, easy to find, and simple to update. There is no bloat, just pure speed and lightweight performance in both loading and maintenance.

Tailor-made tools

For dynamic features that require client-side updates via an admin area, I work with trusted professional developers who share my values.
The result is a tool tailored perfectly to your project's needs—secure, efficient, and incredibly easy to use.

Longevity

Each project is unique, built for longevity, and does not depend on third-party plugins or apps. This gives you total freedom and ensures no compatibility surprises down the line. And there are no annual maintenance fees—the site is yours!

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does a website cost?

Every website is different, so there is no fixed price.
The price of a website depends on its complexity and the required dynamic features (such as self-management, e-commerce, or data submission).
During the analysis phase, I will carefully assess your needs and budget, and together we will decide on the best path forward to provide you with the right solution. Nothing unnecessary, just the right price.

How do I update the website?

The answer is: it depends.
If you need frequent updates (more than 2-3 times a month), we can build a self-management system by collaborating with a trusted developer. You will get a simple, intuitive interface tailored to your specific needs, with no risk of breaking anything and no coding skills required. It's as easy as sending an email!
If, however, you don't need frequent updates, you can simply send the changes to me, and I will handle them within 24-48 hours (weekends excluded). This way, you enjoy immediate savings on development costs and avoid the hassle of learning complex tools.
Should your needs change in the future, we can always add self-management tools later as a one-time cost.

Are there any maintenance fees for the websites?

No. I do not charge annual website maintenance fees. Once the project is completed, the site is your full property, with no strings attached or recurring costs.
You will only pay for standard technical services (hosting, domain, email), and you are free to choose the provider you prefer.

Are your websites mobile-friendly?

Absolutely, they are designed with mobile in mind.
Today, most people browse from mobile devices, so every project is crafted to be easy to read and use on small screens. I don't just 'fit everything in': I carefully design content layout, text size, navigation, and loading speed.
Moreover, my websites follow accessibility and usability standards to offer a clear and comfortable experience to everyone, regardless of the device used.

How many design drafts do you usually create?

Generally... just one!
I will ask for examples you like in your field and others to understand your preferred style, adapt to your brand identity, and focus all my energy on a single, well-thought-out design. If I reach a fork in the road, the alternative I provide won't cost extra.
Why? Often, being forced to present a specific number of drafts leads to diluting good ideas just to 'make up the numbers.' I hate 'changing for the sake of changing': I prefer that every element is well-reasoned and perfected from the start.

How long does it take to build a website?

On average, 4 weeks of work (though it also depends on you).
Once you approve the quote and provide the initial materials, I will present the first graphic design (as an image) in about 15 working days. After receiving all necessary text and photos, I will code the site in a development environment, test and optimize it, and then be ready to move it to the live server and go online!

Do I need a logo to have a website?

It's better, but not necessary.
It depends on the industry; a logo is a key identity element that is always worth having (and having it done well!). However, in some cases, we can work without one and still create a well-defined identity through typography, colors, and visual styles.
Often, logo and website are designed together to build a consistent identity from the start.
If you need a logo, check my dedicated portfolio and decide if I am the right person for that too!

Are your websites optimized for Google?

Yes, every site is developed with a focus on semantic structure, performance, accessibility, and high-quality code.
However, no one can guarantee the #1 spot on Google: rankings also depend on content, competition, and long-term strategy. For this, I work with trusted experts who can support you with the strategic aspects of SEO.

How can I make a payment?

Via bank transfer.
Usually, I ask for a 30% deposit and the balance upon delivery. I issue a pro-forma invoice, and upon receipt of the bank transfer, I send the formal electronic invoice via SDI.

Do you also build sites using WordPress or other CMS?

Generally, no.
I have chosen a path that offers lighter code, greater control, no bloated plugins, long-term durability, and reduced maintenance. However, if you explicitly prefer using a commercial CMS like WordPress or Shopify, I can offer graphic support to expert collaborators who specialize in those technologies, or put you in contact with them—without any markup from my side. We can evaluate the best technology for your project together.
